Pair of Signed Limited Edition Mediterranean Village Scene Prints
This lot comprises a pair of signed limited edition prints depicting Mediterranean village scenes, each presented in a dark wooden frame with a gilt inner slip and a grey mount. The upper print shows a hillside settlement of terracotta-roofed houses, a church tower and cypress trees beneath a pale, watercolour-style sky. The lower print depicts a substantial whitewashed building with a long arcaded façade and a church with a tall bell tower, set against a blue sky and framed by trees. Both images are signed in pencil and numbered within their edition, and the loose, painterly treatment of the lines and washes gives the pair a soft, sketch-like character.
Condition and Collectability
Both prints are housed behind glazing in matching frames and appear to be in good order, with no obvious damage visible in the photograph. The mounts are clean and the colours in the images remain clear and well defined. Items are sold on a “sold as seen” basis, electrical items etc are untested unless stated otherwise in the title of the items in question. We have a viewing day on Saturday 10am-3pm if you are unsure about an item from photos. Please be aware that as we are now VAT registered the buyers commission is now 17.5% plus VAT.
#### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
