Panasonic DMR-EZ49V Combined VHS and DVD Recorder
The Panasonic DMR-EZ49V is a combination VHS and DVD recorder, offered here with its remote control and a quantity of cables. The front of the unit carries a VHS cassette slot marked SQPB Hi-Fi, alongside a DVD tray bearing DIGA and DVD branding. The front panel also displays Freeview and DVB logos and a set of AV inputs, including S-Video, video and L/MONO-AUDIO-R sockets. Its black casing and two-deck layout reflect the style of Panasonic’s early digital-era home recorders.
Condition and Collector Interest
This lot is offered as seen, with no guarantee of working order. The unit shows general signs of handling, and the cables and remote control are presented with it in a cardboard box. The original front panel markings appear to remain in place. Combination VHS and DVD recorders such as the DMR-EZ49V are of interest to collectors of legacy video formats, and to buyers who still hold VHS tape libraries and wish to transfer or play them on a single unit.
