Pair of Parker Knoll Cream Armchairs
This lot offers a pair of Parker Knoll armchairs upholstered in a cream fabric with a raised tonal floral scroll pattern. Each chair has a high, rolled back with a deep padded headrest, sloping wings and a scrolled, rolled arm on either side. The loose seat cushions sit within a gently curved frame, and the lower body is finished with a pleated skirt that extends to the base. The two chairs are matching, giving a coordinated look suited to a living room, reading corner or formal seating arrangement.
Condition and Collectability
Both chairs retain their original cream jacquard upholstery and skirted finish, and the pair presents as a matching set. The fabric shows some signs of age and use, and buyers are encouraged to inspect the chairs in person before bidding. The combination of a recognised maker, a matching pair and a classic traditional form is likely to appeal to collectors of British upholstered furniture and to buyers looking for a coordinated pair of armchairs for a period or traditional interior.
