Three Guitar Amplifiers Including Peavey 158 Bass and Squier Frontman 10G
This lot comprises three amplifiers, combining a Peavey 158 bass combo, a Squier Frontman 10G guitar amplifier and a compact Gear4music practice amplifier. The Peavey unit is a bass amplifier with a single speaker in a black cabinet and a control panel carrying input, gain, voicing and equalisation controls, along with a headphone output and the Peavey Bass Systems badge on the grille. The Squier Frontman 10G has a silver-grey grille cloth with the Squier and Frontman logos, and its front panel offers input, gain, volume, treble and bass controls together with a power switch. The Gear4music amplifier is the smallest of the three, with a black grille, a Gear4music badge and a front panel offering input, volume, treble and bass controls, a headphone input and a power switch.
Condition, Originality and Collector Appeal
All three amplifiers show general signs of use, with some scuffing and wear to the cabinet corners and edges, most noticeably on the Squier and Gear4music units. The grilles, control panels and branding appear to be in place on each amplifier. Their working order has not been confirmed, so prospective buyers are advised to inspect the lot carefully before bidding. The combination of a bass combo and two guitar amplifiers in a single lot may appeal to students, rehearsal rooms and players looking to build a practice setup, or to buyers wanting a group of budget-friendly amplifiers from familiar makers.
