Antique Pilgrim’s Progress & Ephemera
This lot features an antique copy of John Bunyan’s *The Pilgrim’s Progress*, a classic allegorical Christian novel published in 1850. The book showcases a beautiful embossed cloth cover, typical of the period, and features detailed illustrations throughout. Alongside the book is a collection of vintage ephemera, including a “Day to Remember” set, offering a glimpse into Victorian-era sentimental keepsakes and social customs.
Condition & Collectibility
The book shows signs of age and wear, with some foxing and minor damage to the spine, consistent with its age. Despite this, the pages remain largely intact and legible, and the embossed cover retains much of its original detail. This lot will appeal to collectors of antique books, religious literature, and Victorian ephemera, offering a unique and historically significant addition to any collection.
