Two Sealed Packs of Pilot and Clipper Gas Lighters
This lot comprises two sealed retail packs of gas lighters from two well-known names: Pilot Import and Clipper. The Pilot pack contains a display of electronic refillable gas lighters in a range of translucent colours, including blue, red, pink, orange and green, each with a textured striker wheel and a flip-top cover. The Clipper pack contains four lighters fitted with hand-sewn covers, each decorated with a different sports design such as a volleyball, a football, a rugby-style ball and a tennis ball. The Clipper packaging is printed in black with a bold yellow logo and “The coolest covers” slogan, and it is marked with ISO 9994 and EN 13869 conformity references and safety symbols. The Pilot box carries a green colour scheme with the Pilot Import branding. Both packs remain in their original clear shrink-wrap.
Sealed Condition and Collector Interest
Both packs are presented sealed in their original shrink-wrap, and both show the light handling wear typical of retail stock, including minor scuffs and creasing to the card edges. The contents have not been opened, and the original packaging and branding are intact and clearly legible. This lot is sold as seen, and no representation is made as to the function of any lighter. Buyers interested in retro or novelty smoking accessories, sports-themed collectables or branded retail packaging from the 2000s may find this pairing of two distinct product lines appealing, particularly as the Clipper covers are a recognisable collectable range in their own right.
