Pine Dressing Table Mirror with Two Drawers
This freestanding pine dressing table mirror combines a rectangular swing mirror with a serpentine-fronted base fitted with two drawers. The mirror frame has a gently arched top and is supported by two uprights with turned finials, allowing the glass to be angled for use. Each drawer is fitted with a faceted clear glass knob, and the base has a shaped front edge with a moulded lower section. The piece is of traditional pine construction, with visible grain and knots throughout the frame and base. No maker or brand marks are evident.
Condition and Originality
The mirror glass shows some marks and speckling across its surface, and the pine shows general signs of age and handling, including minor surface wear to the frame and base. The operation of the drawers and the swing mechanism has not been tested, and the buyer should inspect these before bidding. The glass knobs appear to be original to the piece.
