Vintage Plastic Dustbin
This is a vintage plastic dustbin, likely dating from the mid to late 20th century. Constructed from durable moulded plastic, it features a classic cylindrical shape with a secure-fitting lid. The green colour was a common choice for outdoor bins during this period, blending with garden environments. It would have been used for household refuse and garden waste.
Condition and Collectability
This dustbin shows signs of age and use, with some surface wear and fading to the plastic. It is presented as found, with no obvious repairs or alterations. Despite its used condition, it retains a charming vintage aesthetic and would appeal to collectors of ephemera, gardenalia, or those interested in mid-century household items. It could also be repurposed for storage or display.
