Italian Polished Chrome Aluminium Side Table

This Italian polished chrome aluminium side table offers a neat, elegant spot for a drink, a lamp or a decorative piece beside a sofa or chair. Standing approximately 56cm high, it has a broad circular top with a softly rounded edge and a polished, reflective finish. The top is supported on a turned baluster column with stepped collars, which rests on a slender three-legged base with sweeping, outward-curving feet. The combination of smooth metal surfaces and classic proportions gives the piece a timeless, mid-century inspired character that suits both traditional and contemporary interiors.

Condition and Collectability

The table shows the typical signs of age and use for a polished metal piece. There are visible scuffs, light marks and areas of uneven reflection on the circular top, along with some small wear and surface marks to the column and legs. The chrome finish retains a good deal of its original lustre, and the overall form remains clear and well defined. Buyers interested in Italian design or in occasional furniture with a strong sculptural silhouette may find this an appealing piece to refinish, display as found, or incorporate into a period or modern scheme. Prospective bidders are encouraged to view the lot in person or request further photographs before bidding.
