Antique Porcelain Potpourri Vase
This exquisite porcelain potpourri vase is crafted in a delicate sky blue, likely dating to the early 20th century and potentially of French origin. The vase is shaped like an egg and features hand-painted floral and butterfly decorations, accented with gilt highlights. The pierced lid is topped with a charming white porcelain figure of a putto, adding a touch of whimsy and elegance to the piece.
Condition and Collectibility
The vase presents with signs consistent with age and use, which may include minor wear to the gilt or slight imperfections in the porcelain. Despite these characteristics, the vase remains a beautiful and desirable piece for collectors of antique porcelain or those seeking a unique decorative item. Its delicate craftsmanship, charming design, and potential French origin make it a captivating addition to any collection or home.
