Mixed Lot of Portable Radios and Docking Stations
This lot comprises a selection of portable radios and iPod docking stations, presented together in a blue plastic crate. The group includes a Sony silver portable radio with a digital display, an Akai Vintage portable 4 band radio with its original box, a grey spherical speaker bearing the JBL name, and a black rectangular docking unit with a Gear4 marking. A mains lead and plug are present alongside the items. The Akai radio is described on its box as retro styled, with FM, AM, MW and LW reception, rotary volume and tuning control, push button band selection, mains or battery operation, and a 5W speaker. It is listed to take 6 x size C batteries.
Condition and Collector Interest
The items show signs of general use and handling, and the box for the Akai radio shows wear to its edges and surfaces. No testing has been carried out, and the condition of each piece is not guaranteed. The Akai radio retains its original packaging, which may appeal to buyers seeking boxed vintage-style electronics. The mixed selection of brands and styles, including a Sony DAB radio and docking stations from JBL and Gear4, may also interest those looking to build a varied collection or to source spare units for restoration or everyday use.
