Princess Mary Christmas Tin 1914

This is a Princess Mary Christmas tin, a gift presented to British and Commonwealth troops and nurses serving during the First World War in 1914. Commissioned by Princess Mary, daughter of King George V, these tins contained a selection of small gifts, including chocolate, cigarettes, and a photograph of the Princess. The tin itself is crafted from brass and features embossed decoration, including a wreath and the Princess’s cypher.

#### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
