Rajput Rug Runner
This is a striking Rajput Indian rug runner, measuring approximately 13ft in length and 2ft 8in in width. The rug features a traditional design with intricate floral and geometric motifs in shades of ochre, navy, and cream. The pattern is bordered by a darker, contrasting band, adding to its visual appeal. This runner would make a statement piece in a hallway, dining room, or any space where a touch of Eastern elegance is desired.
Condition
This rug shows signs of wear consistent with its age and use, including fading and some areas of pile loss. Despite these imperfections, the rug retains its overall character and charm. Collectors and buyers may appreciate its authentic, aged appearance and the unique story it tells. It presents a wonderful opportunity to own a piece of Indian craftsmanship.
