Lot of Religious Books and Ephemera
This lot comprises a collection of religious items, including a copy of “An English Spring” memoirs by Cormac Murphy O’Connor, alongside a vintage prayer book and a small devotional card. The prayer book appears to be leather-bound, exhibiting a classic style often associated with devotional texts from the mid-20th century. The collection offers a glimpse into personal religious practice and literary contributions from a prominent figure.
Condition and Collectibility
The items show signs of age and use, with wear to the covers and pages, consistent with their vintage nature. The prayer book’s binding is intact, though showing some wear, and the pages are yellowed with age. This lot would appeal to collectors of religious literature, Catholic memorabilia, or vintage books, offering a unique insight into faith and history.
