Pair of Retro Sony Three-Way Super Wide Bookshelf Speakers
This lot comprises a pair of retro Sony three-way super wide bookshelf speakers. Each enclosure is finished in black and fronted with a fine perforated metal grille. The Sony name appears on a silver strip across the lower front of each unit, which is marked 3WAY SUPER WIDE. The cabinets have a boxed form with a recessed carrying handle on the side of the left-hand unit.
Condition and Collectability
The speakers show general signs of age and use, including dust and surface marks visible across the top panels. The grilles and cabinet fronts appear intact, and the silver Sony badge is present on each unit. Pairs of Sony speakers from this period are of interest to collectors of retro hi-fi and to buyers looking for vintage audio with a distinctive 1980s style. Prospective buyers should inspect the lot in person or request further images before bidding.
