Revox B77 Stereo Reel to Reel Tape Recorder
This lot is a Revox B77 stereo reel to reel tape recorder, a vintage hi-fi machine from the Revox range. The unit is finished in dark grey with silver detailing and carries the wording “B77 Stereo Tape Recorder” on the upper panel. The front panel is laid out with speed selection, monitor switching, volume and input level controls for the left and right record channels, and a row of transport keys marked Pause, rewind, fast forward, Play, Stop and Rec. Twin meters labelled Left Channel and Right Channel sit to the right of the controls. Two metal reels are fitted, both bearing Grand Master and Ampex 456 labelling.
Condition and Collector Interest
The condition of the Revox B77 has not been tested and cannot be fully assessed from the images provided, so it is offered as seen. Visible features, including the original control layout, the silver-finished panels and the reels with their Ampex 456 labels, suggest the machine retains its period appearance. #### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
