Two Compact Digital Cameras
This lot comprises two compact digital cameras: a Ricoh Caplio R5 and a Kodak model. The Ricoh Caplio R5 is a black compact camera with a 7.1x optical wide zoom lens, rated at 7.0 mega pixels, and carries Ricoh Zoom Lens markings around its lens barrel. It is accompanied by a black leather-style carrying case with a fabric strap. The Kodak is a slim silver compact rated at 8.0 mega pixels, with Kodak branding to the front and a silver wrist strap attached. Both cameras reflect the compact digital styles popular in the mid-2000s, with lens-focused designs and simple front-facing controls.
Sold As Seen, Originality and Collector Interest
Both cameras are offered as seen, and no testing or confirmation of function has been carried out. The Caplio R5 appears to retain its original black finish and its matching case, while the Kodak retains its original silver body and wrist strap. A lot label reading 08/11/26 and 2220 is affixed to the Kodak. Visible wear is consistent with age and handling. Buyers interested in early digital camera hardware, Ricoh’s Caplio range or vintage Kodak compacts may find this pairing of two different makers of the same era of interest, particularly for display or as a study of early digital photography.

Items are sold on a “sold as seen” basis, electrical items etc are untested unless stated otherwise in the title of the items in question. We have a viewing day on Saturday 10am-3pm if you are unsure about an item from photos. Please be aware that as we are now VAT registered the buyers commission is now 17.5% plus VAT.
#### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
