Roughneck Wood Axe and Hand Axe
This lot comprises a Roughneck wood axe and a Roughneck hand axe, offered together. Both axes carry the Roughneck name in yellow lettering on their handles, which are finished in yellow with black grip panels and triangular yellow accents. The wood axe has a long, gently curved handle with a squared pommel, while the hand axe has a shorter handle of similar styling. Each axe has a metal head secured to its handle, and the handles are moulded in a single profile with the grip sections clearly defined.
Condition and Interest for Collectors
The heads of both axes show general wear, including dulling to the metal and yellow printed labels applied to the head areas. No further condition details have been confirmed, and the lot is offered as seen. Items are sold on a “sold as seen” basis, electrical items etc are untested unless stated otherwise in the title of the items in question. We have a viewing day on Saturday 10am-3pm if you are unsure about an item from photos. #### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
