Royal Albert Country Rose Cups, Saucers, Sugar Bowl and Milk Jug
This lot comprises a set of twelve Royal Albert Country Rose cups and saucers, accompanied by a sugar bowl and a milk jug. The pieces are presented together in a woven basket, packed among protective bubble wrap and tissue.
The service is decorated with clusters of red and pink roses, orange blooms and green foliage, with a gilt rim to each piece. The cups have a scalloped body and a looped handle, and the sugar bowl and milk jug share the same floral decoration. Royal Albert is a long-established English maker of fine bone china, and this pattern is a popular choice for afternoon tea services.
Condition and Collectability
The pieces are offered as shown, and buyers are advised to inspect the lot carefully before bidding. Some items show signs of handling, and any further condition details are available on request from the auction team. Sets of matching Royal Albert china in this pattern are sought after by collectors and by those looking to build or replenish a tea service. The lot offers a practical opportunity to acquire a number of matching pieces together.
