Royal Copenhagen Robin and Kaiser Geese Figurine Lot

This mixed lot of porcelain bird figurines brings together two Royal Copenhagen ducks, a Royal Copenhagen robin and Kaiser geese. Pieces of this kind are often gathered by collectors of European porcelain and by those who favour small decorative birds. The group offers a varied selection of styles and glazes within a single lot.

The robin is finished in soft grey and warm orange tones, with the head and breast modelled in a naturalistic manner. The Kaiser geese are rendered in white, with a pair shown together on a naturalistic base with textured detailing. The Royal Copenhagen ducks are glazed in white, with fine modelling to the plumage and bill. Each piece shows the individual character of its maker, and the varied forms make an attractive grouping for display.

Condition and Collector Appeal

Some minor surface marks are visible on a few of the pieces, and the condition of each figure should be checked closely before bidding. No further assessment of condition is offered in this description. The mix of makers and subjects makes this lot of interest to collectors of Royal Copenhagen and Kaiser porcelain, as well as to those building a collection of bird figurines. Buyers wishing to display or add to an existing collection may find the variety of pieces appealing.
