Introduction

This is a traditional Russian trapper hat, commonly known as an Ushanka. Constructed from what appears to be sheepskin or a similar material, this hat is designed to provide warmth in extremely cold weather. The hat features ear flaps that can be tied under the chin for added protection, and a quilted lining for comfort.

Condition

This hat shows signs of wear consistent with age and use. The fur is somewhat matted in places, and there may be minor imperfections in the material. Despite this, the hat remains a desirable piece for collectors of vintage headwear or those interested in traditional Russian clothing. Please be aware that as we are now VAT registered the buyers commission is now 17.5% plus VAT.

#### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
