Vintage Scottish & Newcastle Beer Crate
This is a vintage wooden beer crate, manufactured by Fiddles Ltd for Scottish & Newcastle Breweries in the 1960s. The crate features bold branding for Scottish & Newcastle, and would have originally been used for transporting bottles of beer. It’s a robustly constructed piece, typical of the era, and offers a glimpse into the history of British brewing and pub culture.
Condition & Collectibility
This crate shows signs of age and use, with some wear and tear consistent with its vintage. It’s a genuine piece of brewery memorabilia, and would be a desirable addition to a collection of pub ephemera, vintage advertising, or beer-related items. The crate’s original paint and branding are largely intact, adding to its appeal and authenticity.
