Vintage Door Furniture Selection
This lot comprises a selection of vintage door furniture, likely dating from the late 19th or early 20th century. The collection includes various components such as door handles, escutcheons, and a mortise lock mechanism. The items appear to be constructed primarily from brass and exhibit detailing typical of the Victorian and Edwardian periods, suggesting they were once part of a higher-quality installation.
Condition and Collector Appeal
The condition of the door furniture is commensurate with age and previous use. There is evidence of wear, patina, and some corrosion, which is expected for items of this age. These pieces would be of interest to collectors of antique architectural salvage, restorers of period properties, or those seeking unique hardware for bespoke projects. The items are sold as a lot and are not guaranteed to be complete or functional.
