Set of Three Framed Satirical Artist Signed Prints of Birds
This lot comprises three framed prints of birds by a single artist, presented as a set. Each print depicts a stylised, cartoon-like bird with exaggerated expressions and features, one showing a grey bird with a large tan beak, another a grey bird with an orange beak and a single raised tuft, and the third an owl perched on a branch with one eye winking. The prints are signed by the artist and bear edition markings in pencil beneath the image. Each print is set within a black frame with a cream mount and a fine inner border, giving the set a consistent, understated presentation.
Good Overall Presentation with No Obvious Damage Noted
The three frames appear to be in good order, with no obvious damage visible to the frame finishes or mounts. The artwork looks clean and the signatures are visible, though the edition numbers are small and buyers should inspect these in person or request additional photographs before bidding. We cannot guarantee the condition of the glazing or backing without a closer inspection. The witty, satirical treatment of the birds will appeal to collectors of humorous wildlife art and to buyers looking for a coordinated set for a hallway, study or children’s room.
