## A Significant Historical Collection
This lot comprises a set of Cassell editions of Winston Churchill’s monumental six-volume work, *The Second World War*. These books offer a detailed and insightful account of the events of World War II, as told by one of its key figures. Included with the set is a copy of *The Daily Telegraph* from 1965, reporting on the death of Sir Winston Churchill, providing a poignant contemporary record of the nation’s mourning.
## Condition and Collector Appeal
The books and newspaper exhibit signs of age and use, consistent with their vintage. The books show wear to the covers and spines, and some foxing to the pages. The newspaper is fragile and shows signs of handling. This collection will appeal to collectors of historical literature, Churchill enthusiasts, and those interested in primary source materials relating to World War II.
