Brooch Pair Description
This lot comprises two attractive brooches, each crafted from 925 sterling silver and featuring a cabochon amber stone. One brooch is designed as a delicate floral spray, with intricately detailed silver petals surrounding the warm, honey-toned amber. The other brooch is shaped as a leaf, with textured silver veining and a similarly captivating amber centre. Both pieces showcase a classic aesthetic, likely dating from the mid-20th century, and are secured with pin and clasp fittings.
Condition and Collectibility
Both brooches present in good order, with the silver displaying a pleasing patina consistent with age. The amber stones are free from significant chips or cracks, though minor surface wear may be present upon close inspection. These brooches would appeal to collectors of vintage jewellery, particularly those with an interest in silver and amber pieces. Their timeless designs also make them suitable for adding a touch of elegance to contemporary attire.
