Silver Cheroot Cutter

This is a beautifully crafted silver cheroot cutter, featuring a distinctive pistol-grip handle and a blade designed for precisely cutting cheroots. The cutter is hallmarked with the letters ‘AD’, indicating the maker, along with a date letter and lion passant mark confirming sterling silver quality. The design is elegant and functional, suggesting a piece made for a discerning smoker in the late 19th or early 20th century.

Condition and Collectibility

The cheroot cutter shows signs of age and use, with some surface wear and patina consistent with its age. The blade appears intact, though its sharpness is not assessed. This piece would be of interest to collectors of antique smoking accessories, silver hallmarks, or those seeking a unique and historically significant item.
