Silver Metal Storage Box on Wheels
This lot is a silver-finished metal storage box mounted on a wheeled platform trolley, offered as a practical piece for storage or display. The box has a textured silver-tone outer finish with metal edge trim and corner protectors. It is fitted with two external latches, a central lock escutcheon with a ring handle and a side carry handle. The box sits on a trolley with a dark rubber-edged frame and red-painted wheels, which allows it to be moved easily across a floor.
Condition and Collector Interest
The box shows general wear consistent with age and use, including scuffs and marks to the lid and sides, and some wear to the metal fittings and corners. The trolley deck shows rust-coloured staining and the wheels show signs of use. The function of the lock and latches has not been tested, and the lot is offered as seen. Items are sold on a “sold as seen” basis, electrical items etc are untested unless stated otherwise in the title of the items in question. We have a viewing day on Saturday 10am-3pm if you are unsure about an item from photos. Please be aware that as we are now VAT registered the buyers commission is now 17.5% plus VAT.
#### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
