A Mixed Collection of Silver Plated Wares
This lot offers a mixed group of silver plated items, led by a footed fruit bowl with a scalloped, lobed rim and two scrolled handles. The bowl stands on four cast feet with leaf-form detailing. Accompanying pieces include two tankards, one with a scroll-form handle and the other with a looped handle and a small red enamelled emblem to the side, along with a stemmed goblet. A quantity of flatware is also included, comprising forks, teaspoons, serving spoons and a pierced sugar sifter spoon, with a number of small spoons presented in red card boxes. Maker’s marks are not evident in the cataloguing photographs.
Condition and Collector Appeal
The pieces show visible tarnish, patina and general wear consistent with their age, with the fruit bowl displaying a mottled, darkened surface to its interior. The flatware and drinking vessels likewise show some surface discolouration. No further condition assessment has been made, and buyers are advised to inspect the lot in person or request additional details before bidding. The variety of forms, from hollowware to cutlery and cased spoons, makes this group of interest to collectors of silver plate, to those building a table setting, and to buyers seeking decorative pieces for display or restoration.

Items are sold on a “sold as seen” basis, electrical items etc are untested unless stated otherwise in the title of the items in question. We have a viewing day on Saturday 10am-3pm if you are unsure about an item from photos. Please be aware that as we are now VAT registered the buyers commission is now 17.5% plus VAT.
#### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
