Silver Plated Cruet Set Introduction
This is a charming selection of silver plated and hallmarked silver cruet set items. The set includes a variety of bottles and containers, each with unique detailing. The larger bottles feature faceted glass bodies topped with ornate silver plated or hallmarked silver stoppers. The hallmarked bottles are located on the right side of the photo, though the hallmarks are rubbed and difficult to decipher. This set would have been used for serving condiments or oils at the dining table, adding a touch of elegance to any meal.
Condition and Collectibility
The cruet set shows signs of age and use, with some minor wear to the silver plating and glass. Despite this, the set remains in good overall condition and is a delightful example of Victorian tableware. The combination of silver plated and hallmarked silver pieces adds to its appeal for collectors of antique silver and cruet sets. This set is a wonderful opportunity to own a piece of dining history.
