Vintage Smrc Rifle Shooting Trophy

This is a striking silver plate trophy, dating back to approximately 1930, and awarded for rifle shooting competitions. The trophy features a central rifle motif, supported by elegant, sculpted arms, and rests upon a circular base. The design is indicative of the Art Deco period, with clean lines and a focus on dynamic form. The Smrc designation suggests a specific shooting club or competition, adding to its historical significance.

Condition and Collectibility

The trophy exhibits signs of age and use, with some surface wear and patina consistent with its age. The silver plate shows some loss in areas, but the overall structure remains sound. This trophy would be a desirable addition to a collection of sporting memorabilia, antique silver, or vintage trophies, appealing to collectors interested in shooting sports history or Art Deco design.
