Sonardyne Heavy Duty Flight Case
This lot is a heavy duty flight case bearing the Sonardyne name and the “Sound in Depth” strapline. It is a long, rectangular protective case of the type used for transporting equipment, offered here as a single item. Sonardyne is a name associated with underwater acoustic technology, and this case carries the company’s branding on its side panel.
The case is finished in blue with silver-coloured aluminium edging running along all its corners and edges. Two metal side latches secure the lid, and a recessed carrying handle is fitted to one end. The lid is fitted with four round metal fittings, and the corners are reinforced with metal caps. The case’s construction is robust and purpose-built, with a long, slim profile.
Condition and Collectability
The case shows general signs of use, including scuffing and surface marks across the blue lid and sides. The aluminium edging and metal fittings appear to be in place, and the latches and handle are visible on the case. No contents are included in this lot. Items are sold on a “sold as seen” basis, electrical items etc are untested unless stated otherwise in the title of the items in question. We have a viewing day on Saturday 10am-3pm if you are unsure about an item from photos. Please be aware that as we are now VAT registered the buyers commission is now 17.5% plus VAT.
#### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
