Sony DSC-F717 Cyber-shot Digital Still Camera with Carry Case
Offered here is a Sony DSC-F717 Cyber-shot digital still camera in silver, presented with a black Sony carry case and an operating instructions booklet.
Sony Cyber-shot Design and Notable Features
The Sony DSC-F717 is finished in silver with black detailing and carries the Sony and Cyber-shot branding to the body. The camera has a fitted lens cap and a wrist strap, and the body includes a rotary mode dial and a raised viewfinder housing. Badges and stickers on the body and lens barrel refer to Memory Stick PRO media, USB connectivity and InfoLITHIUM battery technology. The black Sony case has a flap closure with a buckle fastening, an exterior pocket and a shoulder strap. The accompanying operating instructions booklet is titled Digital Still Camera and lists the model as DSC-F717, with a handwritten serial number noted on the cover.
Condition, Originality and Collector Interest
The camera is offered as seen and has not been tested, so its operation is not guaranteed. The body shows general handling marks and the carry case shows ordinary wear to its fabric and fastenings. The operating instructions booklet is aged, with yellowing and creasing to the pages and cover. Sony’s early Cyber-shot models remain of interest to collectors of early digital cameras and to those who enjoy Memory Stick-era equipment. The original case and printed manual together add to the appeal of this lot for enthusiasts.
