Sony PlayStation 3 Super Slim Console
This lot is a Sony PlayStation 3 Super Slim console in black, offered as Lot 217 in this sale. It is presented as a standalone console with its mains lead.
The Sony PlayStation 3 Super Slim is a slimmer revision of Sony’s third generation home console, with a glossy black casing and a curved front profile. The front fascia carries a slot-loading disc drive and two USB ports, with the PlayStation logo at the centre. The rear and front markings indicate support for Blu-ray and DVD playback, Dolby Digital and DTS audio formats, Bluetooth connectivity and HDMI output. The console is supplied with a UK three-pin mains lead.
Condition and Collector Interest
The console shows general signs of handling, including light surface marks to the black casing and a paper auction label affixed to the top panel. It is offered as seen, and no testing or confirmation of operation has been carried out. The Super Slim model is of interest to collectors of the PlayStation 3 range and to buyers looking for a compact example of the console, particularly those wishing to build a collection of Sony’s home entertainment hardware.
