## Lindisfarne Plate
This is a decorative Spode plate inspired by the Lindisfarne Gospels, created in honour of Saint Cuthbert. The plate showcases intricate Celtic knotwork and vibrant colours, reflecting the illuminated manuscripts produced on Holy Island. The design features a central circular motif surrounded by layers of complex interweaving patterns, typical of the artistic style prevalent during the early medieval period. The plate is a beautiful example of Spode’s ability to translate historical artistry into fine porcelain.

## Condition
This Spode Lindisfarne plate appears to be in good condition, displaying the expected characteristics of a vintage ceramic piece. While there may be minor wear consistent with age and handling, the colours remain bright and the design is largely intact.
