SS Dress Dagger – M77/14
This is a German WWII SS Dress Dagger, model M77/14, featuring a polished steel blade etched with the motto “Meine Ehre heißt Treue” (“My Honour is Loyalty”). The dagger boasts a black painted scabbard with bright silver-coloured fittings, and a handle constructed from black material, likely a composite, adorned with a nickel silver fitting displaying the SS runes and eagle emblem. The dagger’s design is consistent with those issued to members of the Schutzstaffel (SS) during the Second World War, intended for ceremonial and dress uniform wear.
Condition and Collectibility
