Stamp Album and Tub of Pennies Collection Lot
This lot offers a mixed collection of philatelic and copper coinage material, comprising a black ring-bound stamp album, two Royal Mail Mint Stamps presentation packs and a red-lidded tin of pennies. The presentation packs, titled Orchids and Peace and Freedom, display mint stamps in clear sleeves with printed information panels. The album pages hold a varied selection of loose British, Commonwealth and foreign stamps, including Royal Mail definitives, commemoratives, Australian issues, Jersey, Jamaica and Malta examples, with some on paper fragments and cut-outs. The tin contains a substantial quantity of copper pennies in mixed dates and designs.
Condition and Collector Appeal
The stamps are mounted in an album with transparent interleaving, and the presentation packs appear to be in good, tidy condition with minor handling wear to the card covers. Many of the album stamps show postmarks, and some are on paper, so their grade will vary and should be assessed by the buyer. The coins are loose in the tin and show general circulation wear with varying degrees of tarnish. This lot may appeal to a beginner building a British or Commonwealth reference collection, a collector seeking Royal Mail presentation packs, or a buyer looking for bulk copper coinage for sorting and further research.
