Star Wars Episode III Revenge of the Sith Limited Edition Framed Film Cell
This limited edition framed film cell from the Star Wars Episode III Revenge of the Sith range presents a central scene of Yoda wielding a green lightsaber, set against a dark, starry backdrop. The cell is mounted in a black frame with a navy mount board and a white-edged aperture. Two further strips of film run either side of the central image, giving the display a cinematic character. A metal nameplate bearing the Star Wars logo and the title Episode III Revenge of the Sith is fixed to the lower mount. The piece is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity issued by Rye By Post Ltd.
Condition, Originality and Collector Appeal
The frame, glazing and mount board appear to be in good order, and the film strips are visibly intact within their aperture. The item is offered with its certificate of authenticity, which states that the cell contains a genuine piece of film from an original print and is dated 2005 with a Lucasfilm Ltd copyright. The reverse of the display shows the film strips and the certificate, which are offered as found. Collectors of Star Wars memorabilia and those drawn to the Revenge of the Sith film may find this an appealing display piece that combines an iconic character with documented provenance.
