Collection of Stone Garden Ornaments Including Cats
This lot comprises a group of stone garden ornaments, several of which take the form of cats. The pieces appear to be cast from reconstituted stone, a material traditionally used for garden figures. Among the group are a recumbent cat with its tail curled around its body, a seated animal figure, a rounded seal or fish-like form, a small figure seated on a lily pad base, and a lion or dog-style figure with a textured mane. The ornaments vary in scale and finish, and together they would suit a garden with a classic or cottage character.
Weathered Surfaces and Age-Related Wear
The ornaments show clear signs of outdoor exposure, with grime, lichen-type discolouration and areas of staining across several surfaces. Some edges appear worn, and minor chipping is visible on a number of pieces. One item carries a paper label. The weathering gives the group an established patina that many garden enthusiasts and collectors of vintage garden statuary look for, and the mixed selection offers scope for display, restoration or simply enjoying the aged finish in a planted setting.

Items are sold on a “sold as seen” basis, electrical items etc are untested unless stated otherwise in the title of the items in question. We have a viewing day on Saturday 10am-3pm if you are unsure about an item from photos. Please be aware that once a bid is placed we will not be able to issue any refunds unless there is a clear and obvious error made by ourselves in the item title, in the event of an incorrect bid being placed, you must contact us on the mobile phone number 07904 339160/description.
Please be aware that as we are now VAT registered the buyers commission is now 17.5% plus VAT.
#### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
