Large Striped Design Blanket
A large striped design blanket with a brown ground and fringed ends, offered as a generous textile piece of approximately 5ft x 7ft. It is well suited to use as a throw, wall hanging or floor covering.
The blanket is woven with a broad brown field crossed by horizontal bands in a range of colours, including red, blue, green, yellow, cream, black and white. The bands vary in width and are finished with a wavy, graduated edge, giving the piece a lively rhythm. A small white motif sits towards the centre of the design, and the short white fringing runs along the top and bottom edges.
Condition and Collector Interest
The blanket shows the expected signs of age and use for a piece of this kind, including some loose threads visible across the surface. The fringed edges appear to be intact, and the colour bands remain clearly defined. No further detail on condition can be confirmed from the images alone, so prospective buyers are encouraged to view the lot or request further information before bidding. Its bold palette and generous size may appeal to collectors of woven textiles and to those seeking a striking statement piece for a home interior.
