Four Boxed Subbuteo Table Soccer .00 Scale Teams

This lot comprises four boxed Subbuteo Table Soccer .00 Scale Teams, offered together. Each box is decorated in bright green and carries the Subbuteo name and the striking footballer motif to the front. The text on the packaging reads “Table Soccer .00 Scale”, “Team”, and gives the scale as 1:100 in the multilingual wording of Massstab, Echelle and Scala. The packaging is also printed in German, French, Italian and Dutch, with the foreign-language terms Mannschaft, Equipe, Squadra and Elftal. Each box is credited to Subbuteo Sports Games Ltd of Tunbridge Wells, Kent, England, and the name Subbuteo is marked as registered.

Condition and Collector Appeal

The boxes show general signs of age and handling, including wear to the edges and corners, with the card otherwise bright. The graphics and lettering remain clear and legible on all four examples. Subbuteo is one of the most recognised names in table football, and boxed teams in the .00 scale are sought after by collectors of vintage toys and tabletop games, as well as by those who enjoy displaying original packaging alongside their collections.
