This lot is a copy of Swallow Tale, written by Tim Vyner. The cover features a painted sunset in warm orange and yellow tones, with a pale sun, a rounded green tree in the lower left corner and several swallows in flight. One swallow is shown in larger scale in the foreground, with smaller birds placed across the sky. The simple, stylised bird forms and soft colour palette give the cover a gentle, nature-themed character.
Condition and Collectability
The book is presented in a clear protective wrap, and the cover appears bright with no significant marking evident. The internal pages, spine and binding have not been examined in detail, so prospective buyers are encouraged to request further information or view the lot before bidding. Its illustrated cover and swallow theme may appeal to collectors of children’s picture books and anyone with an interest in birds and nature-inspired storytelling.

Items are sold on a “sold as seen” basis, electrical items etc are untested unless stated otherwise in the title of the items in question. We have a viewing day on Saturday 10am-3pm if you are unsure about an item from photos. Please be aware that as we are now VAT registered the buyers commission is now 17.5% plus VAT.
#### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
