This is a Tascam RC-808 remote control unit, designed for use with Tascam audio equipment, specifically the 898 Control Unit. The unit features numerous buttons for controlling various functions, including playback, recording, and tuning. Its design is typical of 1980s audio equipment, with a dark grey casing and clearly labelled buttons.
Condition and Collectibility
This remote control unit appears to be in its original condition, showing signs of age and use. The casing exhibits wear consistent with its age, and the buttons may show some fading. This unit would be of interest to collectors of vintage audio equipment, particularly those focused on the Tascam brand, or those seeking to restore a Tascam 898 Control Unit.
