Tiffany & Co New York Toile Trinket Pot

This Tiffany & Co New York Toile trinket pot is a round, lidded ceramic dish decorated with a blue and white toile scene of the city. It is offered as a decorative dressing table or vanity piece for collectors of Tiffany’s ceramic homewares.

The pot is made of glazed earthenware and marked “New York Toile, Designed by Tiffany & Co, Made in England, © 1994 Tiffany & Co” on its underside. The lid and body are covered in a monochrome blue transfer-style design inspired by eighteenth-century French toile. The scene features the Statue of Liberty rising above a stone plinth, a sailing ship and a Dutch-style windmill, a horse-drawn carriage and a stylised New York skyline. Stylised trees and foliage fill the spaces between these motifs, giving the piece a playful, pictorial character.

Condition and Collector Interest

The glaze on the lid appears bright and even, with no obvious chips or cracks visible in the photographs. The unglazed base rim shows some grey surface marking and light wear, which is consistent with age and handling. There is no other visible damage in the images, but we recommend viewing the piece in person before bidding. Its original printed mark, Tiffany branding and New York theme make it appealing to collectors of Tiffany ceramics, transferware-style toile and souvenir homewares from the 1990s.
