Tilbury & Southend Railway Danger Sign
This is a cast iron danger of electrocution sign originating from the Tilbury & Southend Railway. The sign features bold lettering and a clear warning message, typical of industrial safety signage from the period. Its robust construction and distinctive design reflect the practical needs of a working railway environment, and it would have served as a vital safety measure.
Condition & Collectibility
The sign displays signs of age and wear consistent with its history, including some surface rust and paint loss. These imperfections add to its character and authenticity, demonstrating its genuine use. This piece would be of interest to railwayana collectors, industrial history enthusiasts, or those seeking a unique and evocative piece of vintage signage for display.
