Tremar Stoneware Jars
These are two stoneware jars from Tremar Pottery, Cornwall, designed for storing flour. One jar is labelled ‘Plain’ and the other ‘Self Raising’. The jars feature a classic, rustic aesthetic typical of Tremar’s pressingol ware, known for its functional design and earthy tones. They are a lovely example of mid-century British pottery, reflecting a period focus on practicality and simple, honest materials.
Condition & Collectability
These jars show signs of age and use, which is consistent with vintage items. They are ideal for collectors of British pottery, kitchenalia, or those seeking authentic vintage storage solutions. The jars are a charming addition to a country kitchen or a display of collectable stoneware, and their functional design ensures they can still be used today.
