Trench Art & Military Memorabilia
This lot comprises a collection of items relating to military history and wartime resourcefulness. It includes a tub of spent bullets, likely collected from a firing range or battlefield, alongside a vintage tin opener adorned with military badges. A notable piece is a lighter crafted in the style of trench art, demonstrating the creativity and ingenuity of soldiers during wartime. These items offer a glimpse into the lives and experiences of those involved in conflict.
Condition & Collector Interest
The items present signs of age and wear consistent with their history and likely use. The spent bullets show corrosion and discoloration, while the tin opener and lighter exhibit wear to their surfaces. Despite this, these imperfections add to the authenticity and character of the lot, making it appealing to collectors of military memorabilia, trench art, and historical artifacts. This collection provides a tangible connection to the past and offers a unique insight into wartime life.
