Antique Brass Belt Buckles

This lot comprises two antique brass belt buckles, potentially of military origin. Both buckles feature intricate openwork designs, with one exhibiting a more floral pattern and the other a geometric one. The buckles appear to be constructed from solid brass, exhibiting a warm patina consistent with age and use. They are designed for use with leather belts, featuring prongs for securing the belt in place.

Condition and Collectibility

These buckles show signs of wear and patina, indicative of their age and previous use. While not pristine, this wear adds to their character and authenticity. Collectors of military memorabilia, equestrian items, or antique brass hardware may find these buckles particularly appealing. They could also be repurposed for restoration projects or used in crafting unique accessories.
