Vintage Glass Demijohns
This lot comprises two vintage glass demijohns, traditionally used for fermentation and storage of liquids like wine or cider. These vessels feature a bulbous body tapering to a narrow neck, designed for easy pouring and sealing. The glass is clear, allowing for visual inspection of the contents, and the shape is characteristic of demijohns used throughout the 20th century.
Condition and Collectibility
These demijohns exhibit signs of age and use, with minor surface scratches and possible sediment residue. While not pristine, these imperfections contribute to their vintage charm and authenticity. Collectors and home brewers alike will appreciate these demijohns for their historical significance and potential for continued use in fermentation projects or as decorative pieces.
