Hand Glazed Pottery Vases
This lot comprises two hand-glazed pottery vases, exhibiting a warm, earthy aesthetic. The vases feature a classic form, with a slightly flared opening and a sturdy base. The glaze appears to be a rich, mottled green, adding to their rustic charm and visual appeal. These vases would likely date to the mid-to-late 20th century, reflecting a period of artisanal craftsmanship in pottery.
Condition and Collectibility
One of the vases exhibits a slight damage, visible upon close inspection. Despite this minor imperfection, both vases retain their original glaze and overall structural integrity. These vases would be of interest to collectors of vintage pottery, enthusiasts of handmade ceramics, or those seeking unique decorative pieces for their home. The slight damage may appeal to those who appreciate the wabi-sabi aesthetic, embracing imperfections as part of an object’s character.
